Problem Scenario

Rio Oso Coffee Roasters manages a factory of 20 different brewing systems to handle their cold brew coffee products. Rio Oso makes over 50 different cold brews in the facility.

They need a way to identify what is being brewed at each machine, observe the water temperature, and control the operating state of each machine. Rio Oso also needs to manage the historical record of temperatures for each brewing system, as well as generate a report showing what was brewed and machine conditions.

Rio Oso has started monitoring all their sensors and wanted to create a SCADA/HMI application to allow their users to control their brewing processes. Using Ignition, your task is to build a project that meets all the requirements set forth in the following program specification.

Process

Follow the steps on the Gateway and Project pages, then choose to complete the Perspective project, the Vision project, or both. A transaction group and report can also be created. Once completed, review the self-assessment guide to check whether you completed all of the steps needed for the project.
